Our Beliefs
The Bible
The Bible is God’s word and is our standard in all that we say and do.
In the Holy Scriptures as originally given by God, divinely inspired, infallible, entirely trustworthy; and the supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.
Jesus
Jesus Christ lived a sinless life. He died on the cross for our sins and was raised from the dead. In our Lord Jesus Christ, God manifests in the flesh, His virgin birth, His sinless human life, His divine miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension, His mediatorial work, and His Personal return in power and glory.
Salvation
Salvation comes to us on the basis of God’s grace and compassion through our faith in Jesus alone. Salvation is the gift of forgiveness.
God
God is the creator of all things, seen and unseen. God exists as the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God seeks to love and be loved by us. God desires a relationship with us. God is constantly leading us into a relationship with him.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit is sent from God to live inside each of us. He teaches, comforts, and empowers us. The Holy Spirit gives each of us gifts to produce Christ-like character.
Consequently, these statements do not exhaust the fullness of the truth that will be in the restored church. Nor are they a full statement of all that we understand concerning each of these truths. They are a brief statement of some of the fundamental doctrines which have been restored to the church. In addition to these doctrinal teachings, we believe that the Bible contains the guidelines for the government and practices of the church; and that the fullness of restoration involves returning to the Biblical pattern in every area of doctrine, organization, worship, and practice.
